DOTMUSIC

dotmusic was re-designed twice by mikrogroove's Ola Tuvesson, first in Nov-Dec 1998 and again in Jul-Aug 1999. The second re-design was focused on useability and cross browser compatibility. All code was optimized to ensure a responsive user experience, typical page size being as low as 30Kb. Today dotmusic is Europe's busiest music website. The original designs by mikrogroove are no longer in use but you can access some screengrabs of what they looked like below.
