Why do all you music reviewers feel that part of their job description is to
take the piss out of festival-goers? And the bands too... you can't seem to
say anything nice about the bands that are actually good. Are you all bitter
and twisted failed musicians?

Well, your honour, in answer to the first charge, some of them really are asking for it.
As for the second, when we find a band that is actually any good, we are nice. For example, check out the reviews of Macy Gray ,
Nine Inch
Nails , Asian Dub
Foundation .
And we're not all failed musicians - one of us once nearly played on Top of the Pops.

i heard a brighton based band called flannel were playing at Glastonbury this
year probably on a small stage, is this true?

Is it true one of you got attacked on Friday by a guy with an iron bar and he
bashed your face and you had to have sutures and stuff? I heard this on

There's more than a semblance of truth in that rumour, but, quite frankly, after watching the dotmusic staffer in question being pampered by some of the loveliest girls on the site, we are loathed to give the miserable specimen any more opportunity for sympathy.
